Fishing in the afternoon

This afternoon was not too cold and nice and cloudy, so we decided to go fishing for an hour. We went to Salem Pond, a nice little lake near Spanish Fork, about a 5 minute drive from our house. We stood out on a neat little dock that had a bench and I tended James and helped watch the poles while Garrick did all the work. James thought the fish were interesting to look at - he stared at them quite curiously.

He almost immediately caught a lovely little trout that we threw back because it was so tiny. Later we caught another kind of small one and a larger one that we kept. Yesterday Garrick fished at the same pond and caught two nice trout and we had them for dinner. They tasted great!!

Here are some pictures:

  1. Good Morning
Looks like Garrick will pass on the family traditions. Soon Anna will be a "fishing widow", Saturday mornings all alone. Like that wouldn't be a Treat!!!!
